Located in the suburbs of Limerick this hotel was an overnight for us on our Irish road trip. Turned out to be an east and shoirt drive into medieval Limerick (King John's Castle) for sightseeing. There is a Spar convenience mart across the parking lot of the hotel which we appreciated finding. The room itself was of decent size and comfortable. Would stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

So easily located with easy parking and so so child family friendly. We do an annual pre Christmas family trip to castletroy park hotel every November with my husband and twin sons to meet both my brothers and their partners who live in Limerick. Our parents travel down with us also. It’s a very enjoyable family tradition that your hotel is a key part of the experience. We love the Christmas decorations as it starts the festive feelings especially for my twins the only grandchildren. So all 3 generations meet up and sat in your hotel annually for this Christmas trip. My parents. Myself (& my husband) and my 2 brothers (& both their girlfriends) and the previous third generation and only grandchildren. Our sons. We usually stay spring summer time also. And my parents visit my brothers monthly and always choose your hotel.

The receptionist was friendly and talkative. The room was nice and clean. Plenty car park. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were nice to have. Breakfast was nice and staff attentive asking for tea/coffee.

The customer service was just excellent. You feel special and welcomed from the time when you made the reservation. The food was so tasty. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were excellent plus served by extremely nice waiters. Well done. The customer service in the hotel made amazing atmosphere what let us to feel as well. The hotel is beautiful plus the amazing staff that's what you want for the time of your holiday.

Very homely. Really good menu for kids and adults at the bar/restaurant. Kind staff. Very accommodating and friendly all around. The kids love the place. Very good breakfast with lots of variety.

The manager gave my daughter colouring books for Christmas eve and he was also very chatty in the dining hall for breakfast. He was lovely and friendly and always smiling. It would be great if all the staff were as thoughtful as him. Its the little things that make a difference. We had a good choice for breakfast maybe some fresh fruit options might be nice and room was a decent size for a family room. The decorations and Christmas tree were beautiful too.

On check in, the receptionist realised our room was over the ballroom where there was a wedding that night. As we have young children, she found us another room in one of the suites. We were delighted with the bigger room and the quiet nights sleep!

The room was comfortable, but the bed mattress was buckled and the window overlooked a roof. The aircon worked very well and the gym/pool facilities were good although some lockers were broken. The breakfast dining room was lovely and the food great.

Breakfast was good but we were part of a group Who were away for night together n we couldn’t have tables together for breakfast.
